Shauna Tuey @ Starbucks

Shauna Tuey is 21 year old aspiring artist living in Seattle. She experiments with a wide variety of mediums, including (but not limited too)  wax, wood, acrylic paints, pen, and digital photography. Parallel to her perspective on life, her art is often left to the interpretation of the viewer – it is what you make of it.

The work she’s showing is part of a collection of melted wax on canvas.

“Whimsical Dreamscapes” @ University Business Center

Featuring both classic and brand new award-winning works by South Puget Sound artists Orenda Ayashe, Patrice Colvin, and Wendy Winbeckler (Kanojo) of the Poverty Bay Artists Group.

Pacific Northwest artists, Patrice Colvin, Orenda Ayashe, and Kanojo have very different styles of art. An inspired feminine influence however connects their work. Patrice Colvin’s paintings are oil dreamscapes overflowing with romantic ambiance. Orenda Ayashe’s art is sensual and whimsical with a New York vibe. From her Fantasia collection, Kanojo’s palette knife acrylics and collage have a fairytale element. The three artists belong to the Poverty Bay Artist Group, and their studios are in the Seattle area.

Experience eclectic collections of acrylic and oil paintings by three artists whose unique styles complement each other in this delightful month-long venue: 17 September 2012 – 12 October 2012!
