Please join us in honoring our very favorite season with a macabre and hallowed inspired showing of four fantastic artists: “Spirit Paintings” by Craig Luckenbach (dark “conjurings” from the beyond in gouache on wood panel) “Psychedelic Chaos” by Luke Green (pen, ink & acrylic paintings inspired by dreams, the subconscious and the unknown) “Monster Mates” by Mike Mullins (stencil paintings depicting classic movie couples of the monstrous variety) “Witch Bottles: Ceramic Spellcraft” by Denny Sargent (handmade from ceramic and each has a specific spellcraft purpose or use). There will be wine, cheese, and scary treats! “Hands for a Bridge” @ The University Business Center
Hands for a Bridge Group Show Many artists have donated work for this group show, raising funds for the Hands for a Bridge Foundation. The Hands for a Bridge Foundation works to support high school students from Seattle, Capetown, South Africa, and Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland with opportunities to explore issues surrounding social justice in their local, regional, and international communities. In collaboration with established partners, students engage in intensive artistic dialogue to build bridges of understanding across chasms of race, culture, wealth, and poverty. These student leaders will emerge as transformed global citizens with vision and resources to effect vital change in our world. Hands for a Bridge Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
