“Body Parts – Part 1”
Oil Paintings

Lyn is an oil painter was looking for a challenge. 
“I thought, I will make 50 paintings of my own body parts, on 2×2 squares, using saturated, vivid colors. I chose a square format which seemed chopped and uncomfortable, and colors like Pepto-Bismol pink, Indian yellow, and deep turquoise which were so in-your-face they seemed the opposite of me.”
The results of this project are stunning. 
The work is bold. It’s unsettling. It’s fascinating. 
You won’t be able to look away.

T-Shirt Design Contest @ Chaco Canyon

Calling all artists, designers, and creative community members: we are having a fun event that will run throughout June to create a series of original Chaco shirts. We’ve been wanting to do this for a long time and the time is NOW!

Here are some themes to guide your process: positive, humorous, powerful, iconic.

Please include “Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe” somewhere in your design (we may add the logo)
Designs can be on the front or back of the shirt- or both!

Did we mention P-R-R-R-I-ZES?!?!?! Yeah, Prizes!
We will print the top three designs and award prizes to 5 winners!
1st prize = $100 Chaco gift card, and one of all three shirts
2nd prize = $50 Chaco gift card, and one of all three shirts
3rd prize = $25 Chaco gift card, and one of all three shirts
4th & 5th prize = one of all three winning shirts

The nitty gritty:
Please keep the colors to 4 or fewer, including black 
Please submit a completed design, not just a synopsis of your idea
All ages & all artists welcome to enter!!
Please submit final file as 300DPI PDF, PSD, TIFF or JPG files
Include your name and best phone number with your entry so we may contact you.

Email your submissions (or questions) to: chacocanyoncafe@gmail.com with “Shirt Contest” in the subject line.

Please send all submissions by by June 30th.
Winners will be announced by July 20th, 2016.

By sending your entries via email and the instructions defined above, you 100% release the design and all rights to Chaco Canyon Cafe for print and promotional use. Thank you!
