Erica Nordean & Derek Gundy @ University Business Center

Acrylic and watercolor paintings

May 11 through July 10th

Erica Nordean is an accomplished artist working in acrylic. Many of her images are horses and the work is stunning. It's big and bold, vibrant and brave. She is fearless, treading a fine line between abstract and figurative work. Other images, while intense, have a depth and sweetness to them. The eye is fascinated.

Derek Gundy is also a professional artist. His work is smart and clever. The watercolor "Amy's Wine House" is the perfect example. Derek's skill with painting light creates a great deal of movement in his acrylic paintings. Wonderful!

Viewing hours:
Monday through Friday 9am - 9pm
Saturdays 9am - 1pm

"False Nature" by Baso Fibonacci & Jean Nagai @ Moksha

On June 19th we present False Nature: the artwork of Jean Nagai and Baso Fibonacci. These are two prolific Northwest artists who’s styles are strong and unmistakable. Both artists styles are built upon their consistent use of brush work. Jean primarily works with a basic color pallet and build compositions with repetitive dots while Baso uses bright colors and uses fine brush strokes to create vibrant compositions. By bringing these two together we explore the essence of style: how it originates, how it evolves and how it’s defined. Join us June 19th to meet the artists and discuss style.

Drinks, music and good times will be serve.
